Mike is an approved instructor for your REA License CEU’s!

I have developed three classes, and had them approved for your Continuing Education Requirements (CEU’s). These classes are designed to help understand and help your clients through the inspection process. These classes can be taught as a three hour or three individual one hour sessions. I can come to your location as well.

Managing Expectations of the Home Inspection:

This class can help a real estate agent understand and guide their client through the home inspection process. It covers everything from choosing a home inspector, hiring them, what to look for, what the inspection will be like, and what to expect out of the process. This class really helps lower stress of this portion of the real estate transaction. (one hour, 1 CEU)

How the Home Works:

This course gives a brief description of many of the systems of the home. What they are, and how they work. A REALTOR who knows what things are, and how they work can better serve their clients. also a better understanding of the home from the point of view of the home inspector helps understand some terminology you may find in home inspection reports. A great informational hour.  (one hour, 1 CEU)

The role of the Home Inspector in the Real Estate Transaction:

In this hour we will discuss how the inspector is an integral part of the home buying or selling process. You’ll learn about the inspection, dispel some myths and learn to use the relationship with the inspector and his reports to your benefit.
We will also discuss reacting to the report, what defects mean as far as severity, how they are remedied and what to do with a large report and avoiding buyers stress with many pages.  (one hour, 1 CEU)

Additionally I’ll be helping out with some portions of pre licensing courses with Carma REA Education in East Greenwich RI.
